The Dream
On MLK Day the celebration honors a man of humble beginnings, a transformational leader, an icon. When you honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., you are honoring civil rights and equality for everyone. You are recognizing the injustices of the past and the necessity for conscious action to remove the injustices in the making. You are honoring his climb to the mountain top – his vision for broadening our moral community so that we can face people of all ethnicities and culture, form stronger and better relationships, and live in a world where expressions of hate and prejudices are replaced by compassion and love. Make the dream a powerful reality!

Free At Last…?
Embracing the diversity that makes us who we are – big or small, black or white – is celebrating Dr. King’s dream. Together we can improve the world for our children when we live and work as a united force. Let us embrace each other with love and nurture the hope for a better tomorrow. We must continue Dr. Kings work to overcome ignorance and prejudices before we can fully embrace his powerful sentiment “Free at Last! Free at Last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last.” Maintain your sense of morality and let the change continue with you.
