What’s Your Motto For Living Life?

Mine is, life matters …people matter! Living Life!

The Why

Living Life Pink Heart With The Words Make Today Beautiful

You may have noticed that I write about a variety of life-related topics, including those that are important to many people: relationships, employment, wellness, and the environment. You may be wondering why I do this, right?

Even though I’m not particularly creative, I use what little I do have to give you information, stories and life experiences that might encourage positive reactions in your life. I share my lessons learnt because I believe it’s only right that I share knowledge and concepts with you if they have helped me in my life.

My Inspiration – Living Life

My inspiration comes from many things: people, nature, animals and from inanimate objects such as a wearable app or a train – things that help to make our lives healthier and our commute easier.

I take pleasure in the amazing artistic expressions of poetry and music, and the artistry of minds such as Maya Angelou, that bring our dreams and imagination to life. Whatever motivates me to share my viewpoint and ideas with you is my inspiration!

My recent inspiration: My children’s book Ducks In the Lake

An Inspiration

Recently, I met a young woman, aged 21, who was doing odd chores in a store I frequent, the type of work – sweeping the floor- that some would probably consider beneath them. She very graciously offered me a bottle of water and I took the opportunity to ask her about her future plans. She said she would be leaving soon to start college in the fall as she wanted to become a dentist. She continued to explain that she wasn’t getting paid much and occasionally wasn’t treated well.

I was touched by her innocence and humility, and encouraged her to follow through with her plan, viewing the work she was currently doing as just a temporary stop on the way to her goal. When she spoke about her career aspiration I could see the light in her eyes, and I wished her well. Somehow, I knew in my heart that she would “ go high” even when dismissed by others and she would reach her goal on her own terms.

Her story was one of hope, courage and determination. Maybe one day our paths  will cross again and I will be sitting in her dentist chair while she tends to my need and I will be able to share her academic journey with you.

T’s Tip: In order for our children to develop to their full potential, it is imperative that we do everything in our power to encourage and support them.

Remember, life matters… people matter!

Inspiring words can always make a difference in the lives of others. We never know what people are experiencing.
